The support provided by Matthew has been first class. Matthew shows integrity in his work, is highly knowledgeable in his architectural field and maintained a professional attitude in both written and verbal communication throughout the project with both us and the contractor. The extension work, albeit a relatively small scale project had changes made to the plan prior to the build and we experienced issues during the build itself. When such moments arose, Matthew remained calm and professional and provided excellent advice and guidance so that we fully understood the direction required. “Thank you so much for making the Malvern Civic Society Award sub-committee so welcome on 5th April. We very much enjoyed our visit to this iconic Malvern building. It is immediately clear how much you have improved the frontage of the Well House. Until recently it looked run-down and tired. Now it looks in very good order, although its 19th century character has been carefully preserved. The replacement of the timber lean-to by a properly built extension is also a great improvement. Inside the transformation has been even more dramatic. The café and function room are pleasant and comfortable, whilst retaining their cottagey character. The servery and kitchen are amazing improvements which ensure they meet today’s food hygiene regulations. The modernized apartment now provides enviable accommodation.
The people of Malvern can be very proud of their Well House: you have done a good job.
